Erin and Paul were married on a beautiful September day in New York City.
After preperations at a nearby hotel the bride and groom saw each for the first time.
After the first look we were able to go straight into portraits so that they could later enjoy the happy hour. We took full advantage of the great nearby locations including the High Line and the graffiti filled streets by Comme des Garçons.
Erin describe her wedding as “modern romantic.” She is a fashion designer with amazing style.
Isn’t her Betsey Johnson wedding dress FABULOUS?!
The couple has a long history together. They met in high school in Ohio back when they were a football player and cheerleader.
I LOVE this photo on the steps of the High Line. You guys look amazing!
After the couple’s portraits were done, we zipped over to 12th Avenue to meet the bridal party.
The Pier 62 carousel is a NYC treasure in Hudson River Park. Many of the 33 embellished animals honor the creatures of the Hudson River Valley: a harbor seal, seahorse, rabbit, green turtle, wild turkey, black bear cub, white-tailed deer, hawk, bluebird, raccoon, and more, with the exception of the butterfly unicorns.
The ceremony was held at the Chelsea Piers Sunset Terrace. Erin’s brother walked her down the aisle carrying a blue carnation to represent her father. Erin also had her dad’s tie wrapped around her bouquet in remembrance.
The ceremony space was transformed into a beautiful reception during cocktail hour.
Erin shared with me, “Our favorite moment of the day was our first dance to DJ Sammy’s Heaven, Candlelight Version, after being announced after we were married. It felt like no one was in the room but us.”
This group knew how to PARTY!
Erin and Paul had a photobooth with an awesome custom made background. Check out the slideshow here!
Congratulations Erin and Paul!
Special thanks to the team!
