I LOVE the zoo! Last year I blogged about the Central Park Zoo. This year a wedding brought us to Pittsburgh and Eric and I just had to go visit the animals!
The Pittsburgh Zoo is awesome! They have a huge variety of animals and many endangered species including this beautiful Amur Leopard.
We went on an overcast breezy day that was perfect because the animals were so active.
We got to see baby elephants and lemurs and a newborn gorilla.
The gorilla was hard to photograph because he was behind glass and being held and fed by a zoo worker. But still, so cute!
My absolute favorite animal to visit is the polar bear. The one at the Pittsburgh Zoo likes to DANCE! He was cracking us up. Eric and I think he was singing Eye of the Tiger in his head.
Eric was on the lookout for the snow leopard.
They also have an aquarium and we saw some really cool sharks and crazy fish!
We left the zoo as sleepy as these lions.
