Alyson and Brian were married at the Bolger Center in Potomac, Maryland, on a beautiful and slightly rainy day. This couple was all about making their day as memorable and fun as possible down to every last detail–from the moment I walked into the hotel room and all the bridesmaids were wearing pink matching robes to the choreographed dance number that began the reception celebration!
Alyson looked so gorgeous everyone had to photograph her!
Alyson and Brian chose to do a first look. Here’s a note from the Bride, “A favorite moment for me was getting to finally see Brian before the ceremony. I had been pretty calm all day, until it started to rain. Once I realized we were going to have a rainy day, I got really nervous and just needed to see Brian to calm me down. I see him every single day, yet walking up to him so we could see each other for the first time that day was so nerve racking!”
I love this moment right before they saw each other, the anticipation is so clearly shown on both of their faces. This was such a beautiful start to their day together.
People say it is good luck to have rain on your wedding day. I agree! Especially when it is only a drizzle. The umbrellas made for a really unique photo, the harsh sun was nowhere to be found and the grass looks so vibrant with the drips of dew.
What happens when a professional entertainment officer gets married? He brings his whole entertainment company with him! Electric Entertainment provided special lighting, music, plasma screens, dj, dancers and effects to make the wedding unlike any I have ever seen.
