Melanie and Ben had a beautiful wedding at Geneva Farms in Hartford County, Maryland.
I love heirlooms. Melanie had a beautiful sliver bracelet that she wore on her wedding day that once belonged to Ben’s Grandmother. The family asks Grandkids to wear it to special events so that a part of her is there with everyone.
The black bridesmaid dresses were so crisp and striking in comparison to Melanie’s beautiful white dress.
During the toasts Ben’s brother asked Melanie to put her hand on the table. He then asked Ben to put his hand on her’s and told him him that this would be the last time Ben would have the upper hand!
This group really loved to dance!
When Ben’s parents were married they eloped and were never able to have a first dance, so Ben and his brother decided to make a special announcement and play a song just for them, so that they could finally have their first dance.
A note from Melanie, “Wedding planning was not as enjoyable as everyone made it out to be. Especially 5 months before our wedding when the original location we had canceled (due to renovations). At the wedding I realized all the stress and frustration I had was all worth it. Everything came together and my wedding was perfect.”
