Susan and Keith were married on a brisk, sunny November day overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. The ceremony and reception were held at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Philip Merrill Environmental Center in Annapolis, Maryland.
The couple first met on a cold, rainy Saturday in April of 2009. The groom says, “Fortunately, neither the dreary day nor the fact that we attended rival schools (her Virginia, me Virginia Tech) got in the way of a budding romance.”
Reverend Carie Morgan, a close friend of the couple, performed the service and contributed to the festivity by wearing a tropical hibiscus stole.
Susan and Keith love to sail. To make the day extra-special a friend had the opportunity to bring a race to the bay area overlooking the wedding. The couple really enjoyed watching a full day’s worth of sailboat competition right in front of the venue.
