Meet Ollie, a four-month-old faun French bulldog puppy.
Watch out for the flying Frenchie!
Mariah and Ollie live on the Upper West Side and love to play in Central Park.
I asked Mariah to share a little bit about the newest member of her family:
“Oliver Zeca Byrne, affectionately known as Ollie, was born on March 5th, 2012, in Missouri. Seeking a life of passion and adventure, he made his way to New York where he was adopted by another recent arrival to the city, Mariah Byrne. He was named after Oliver Strutynski, a close friend of his mom’s, and his middle name channels his Brazilian heritage by honoring Zeca Pagodinho, his favorite samba musician.
An Upper West Sider, Ollie can regularly be found in Central Park introducing himself to anyone and everyone around him and taking advantage of the beautiful (if hot) New York summer. In his free time, he enjoys dancing to Jack Johnson and Louis Armstrong, chewing on pink stuffed gorillas, snuggling with his mom, Uncle Rich and Aunt Amy, and making eyes at the ladies.
A true foodie, Ollie has a penchant for healthy edibles nylabones and considers breakfast and dinner to be the most exciting events of his day. He is incapable of feigning disinterest as his hilarious butt wiggling gives him away every time.”
Puppy LOVE!
