Day and Josh planned an NYC elopement with the help of A Central Park Wedding. They shared their vows in Central Park under the Bethesda Terrace.
Day and Josh met at a desert race in Caliente, Nevada. They both race off-road cars and this passion/hobby brought them together. After a year and a half of dating, Josh proposed at Day’s house in Las Vegas on Christmas Eve.
The couple chose to elope because, as Day says, “We wanted something easy, stress-free and romantic.”
Day continues, “I told my Aunt Bekki about our plans to elope and she wasn’t going to NOT be at the wedding. It was sweet how much she wanted to be a part of our special day. My Aunt Bekki, Uncle Adam and cousin Ava joined us for the wedding. Bekki and I are close like sisters so I normally call Ava my niece and to her I’m Aunt Day.”
Although the rain was not ideal for an outdoor wedding, one major benefit was that no one was in the park! Josh and Day could enjoy the Bethesda Terrace and Bow Bridge areas and have some privacy in what are normally very busy spots. Also, the grass and trees were such a beautiful vibrant green from the rain. It was quite romantic!
Congratulations Day and Josh!
Special thanks to the team!
