Romantic Rose Wedding: Congratulations Kaitlyn & Artin

Kaitlyn & Artin were married on a beautiful fall day in Rockville, Maryland. Kaitlyn had always wanted a fall/winter wedding with romantic touches.

Kaitlyn shares, “Artin and I first met ten years ago when we were in high school at a rock concert that I lied to my parents about going to and he skipped work to go to. He popped the question on a date night he had planned right before my 25th birthday, June 3rd, 2011. He created a scavenger hunt all through the apartment. Each clue was a reason why he liked us together and then the next place to search. The last clue was under my placemat and it said “Will You Marry Me?” and when I turned around he was down on one knee! It took me totally by surprise!”

Now the day was here.

Photographing a wedding in November ,when it gets dark earlier, can be tricky for planning portraits to make the most of the daylight. We went outside after the ceremony and were still able to get some really dramatic romantic photos by the moonlight.

Then it was time to PARTY!

The wedding was beautiful and everyone had so much fun. Kaitlyn says, “Our only regret was not having it last longer!”
