Kristie and Clint welcomed their baby into the world this March. Kristie shares, “Logan Olivia Herring was born on Monday, March 9 at 3:44 pm at Inova Fairfax Hospital in northern Virginia. She was five days late so we were very eager to meet her! Given her tardiness, we were surprised by her small size–she weighed 6 lbs 5 oz and was 20 inches long.”
I love this one! Logan peeked her head inside the blanket and looked like a little doll.
Kristie and Clint have always had a very cool, kind of retro style. This wallpaper was fun to add to their session.
Kristie continues, “From the start, we both suspected that we were having a girl and in October our suspicions were confirmed. Clint and I both liked gender neutral names for a girl and started our search there. We finally decided on Logan around the holidays, but decided to keep her name a secret until she was born. Her middle name, Olivia, was an easy pick for us after watching many seasons of Law & Order SVU and becoming fans of Detective Olivia Benson. We revealed her full name once both our families arrived at the hospital on the evening she was born.
Everyone says she looks just like Clint, including his beautiful blue eye color. We’re hoping they don’t change! We love seeing every new thing she does each day. She’s started smiling a lot and interacts with us more each day. We are so grateful to have such a happy and healthy baby and can’t wait to watch her grow and develop.
We decorated the nursery as a room she could grow into. We chose gold, pink and white as colors and completed a few DIY projects to round out the room. We made a rope swing for stuffed animals, repurposed an entertainment unit as a dresser/changing table and created a tissue paper pom-pom mobile. Clint and I love doing DIY projects and wanted Logan to have handmade items in her nursery.”
