Jaime and Joe were married on a lovely summer day at the Stonebridge Country Club in Long Island.
Jaime and Joe shared a first look before the wedding ceremony. Joe’s reaction was priceless!
Jaime shares, “I had moved back to the Upper East side of Manhattan in Fall 2011 and wandered into the bar, Molly Pitchers, one football Sunday. I spotted Joe sitting on what I soon found out was his favorite bar stool and the one he sat on every Sunday to watch the Baltimore Ravens. One thing led to another and after the game we started chatting only to find out that we lived across the street from each other and also worked across the street from each other in Midtown. It was almost as if a higher power wanted us to meet and fall in love. We immediately and easily fit into each other’s lives – meeting for lunch in Bryant Park and walking home through Central Park.
Joe proposed on August 3, 2014 on the beautiful beach of Carmel, CA. He and his sister had been planning the proposal for months and, when the day arrived, Joe’s sister Mindy and her husband drove from San Francisco and set up the perfect beach proposal. Joe suggested we go for a walk on the beach to watch the sunset. When we got to the beach this amazing bonfire had been set up complete with Adirondack chairs and champagne. It was there Joe asked me to be his wife! It was one of the most memorable days of our lives.
Fresh, fun and personal – those are the words I kept thinking about when planning our wedding. I wanted our guests to feel welcomed, have a blast and leave with a sense of why Joe and I love each other.
We are both extremely close to our siblings so we made our wedding party a true family affair. My brothers served as my men of honor and Joe had his sister serve as his best woman. These are the people that know us best as individuals and a couple and it was truly special to have them stand beside us.”
The ceremony was held outside just as the sun was setting. So beautiful!
The couple shared their first dance to You are the Best Thing by Ray LaMontagne.
