Claire and Troy were married on a gorgeous autumn day in Littleton, Colorado.

The ceremony was held at the Light of the World Catholic Church.

Claire planned a very sweet first look with her twin brother.

The couple shared a first touch (not a first look) right outside the church with the sunlight streaming through the fall leaves. They read private vows to each other while holding hands.

After the ceremony, everyone traveled to Arrowhead Golf Club for the cocktail hour and reception.

Claire shares, “The first home I ever lived in was in Terre Haute, Indiana on Troy Ct. It was a special realization that my last home would also be with Troy. Perhaps it’s just a coincidence that I’m looking too much into, but the fact that it was “Ct” (our first name initials) also brought me this beautiful, overwhelming feeling of joy that this is how it was planned all along. God chose Troy for me long before I even knew him.

Everyone asked me leading up to the wedding if I was nervous, and knowing myself, I honestly thought I would be. I didn’t feel nervous at all though. I felt this extreme sense of calm and that sigh of relief you feel and can let out when you know you’re finally home. It’s the same feeling I had when I saw Troy standing at the end of the aisle.

It was a pretty full circle moment, especially since a little circle in the form of an Aggie ring is the reason we met. After being long distance for so many years while dating, we quickly learned that home wasn’t a place. Home was with each other.

So, to celebrate two families becoming one, we made nods to our hometowns at our wedding to symbolize two homes merging into one, too (and all the people who made those homes what they are)!

My childhood home for 15 years prior to meeting Troy was in a subdivision of Stone Oak (hence the stone place cards at each guest’s seat) called the Estates of Arrowhead. Troy lived in Littleton, Colorado his whole life before attending Texas A&M where we met and fell in love. So, it only felt fitting to choose Arrowhead Golf Club in Littleton, Colorado as the backdrop of our reception to celebrate those two homes joining together!

Not to mention, we have an affinity towards those stunning red rocks, as Red Rocks Amphitheater is where Troy and I said “I love you” to each other for the first time. I still get the butterflies thinking back to that moment, and I’m so glad those same red rocks could be witness to our day when we also said “I do.”

Claire continues, “The whole day was meaningful and magical, so full of our Branigan shenanigans. For example, we chose to do a t-shirt toss of our NBA teams (the San Antonio Spurs and the Denver Nuggets) instead of a bouquet and garter toss to show our commitment to cheering on each other’s team now that we are officially Team Branigan, just so long as those teams aren’t playing each other.

Every detail was so intentional, authentic, and specific to us, and it truly made our wedding day so memorable. We are still amazed by how our vision came to life, and we truly have all of our vendors to thank for executing all of our planning.

It was so touching and such a “pinch me” moment when looking around the tent, under a blanket of twinkly lights, at all of the friends and family members who shaped who we are today and came far and wide to celebrate us as a forever pair as Troy and Claire.

In our nuptial mass homily, Father Chris encouraged us to embody the name of the Church we were married in by being a light to the world as a couple. This is something I am most excited about as husband and wife. The light we bring to the world each day is now even brighter because we get to do life hand in hand.”

Claire and Tory ended the night with a private last dance and then an exit through streamers!

Congratulations Claire and Troy!
