Callista and Hunter planned a beautiful, intimate elopement at the Juniper Lodge and Treehouse in Evergreen, Colorado.
Callista shares, “We planned our elopement for August 15th, 2025 because it was the only break point during my nursing program for the year. We landed on Juniper Mountain House in Evergreen because of the magical nature feeling the mountains provide!”
Callista adds, “The best part of eloping was spending the day together exactly how we wanted, with no family drama, and we got to exchange private and intimate vows with each other. The day was extremely special because it was just us.”
Hunter continues, “I think the best thing about eloping was the ease of literally everything. We really didn’t stress about any specific details and had a very smooth, intimate, and personal time doing so.
We had no help, no advice on styling, and just went with the flow of how we both agreed we felt. It made for one of the best weekends ever–doing something so big, with my best friend, and knowing everything was exactly how we wanted it.”
After taking some photos in the evergreens we walked back to the Mountain House for wedding cake and champange to toast the celebration.
Our last stop was a drive up to Lookout Mountain for some sunset portraits. There’s nothing like a Colorado sunset over the mountains to capture some gorgeous wedding photography. The golden hues did not disappoint!
Callista shares, “We are planning to take our honeymoon in Iceland after we both graduate from our respective programs next spring. One of my biggest wishes for our trip is to see the northern lights!”
Congratulations Callista and Hunter!
