I met Louisa and Huessin on a beautiful spring eventing at Mt Falcon to celebrate their engagement. Louisa shares, “This was our first time at Mt. Falcon but we are so glad we chose it for our engagement session. We loved the mountains and the trees, but our favorite part was all of the wildflowers that had sprung up!”
Louisa shares, “We actually met on Hinge! Our first date was bowling. Immediately we clicked and did way more talking than bowling. We got ice cream after, and of course I spilled my ice cream all over his car — we still laugh about it.
Hussein proposed to me while we were on a trip to Glenwood Springs celebrating our anniversary. I booked a cave tour months before the trip, and Hussein had reached out to the company without me knowing to plan the whole thing! We went on a private cave tour, and Hussein surprised me by proposing in the snow looking out at the canyon. It was beautiful and intimate, and our tour guide was hilarious! Definitely one of my favorite memories.”
Louisa and Hussein both got engagement rings to celebrate the occasion.
Louisa continues, “Our wedding planning has been largely on Pinterest so far, haha! We are thinking late summer of 2026 here in Colorado, and we’re going for a garden party vibe with lots of flowers, thrifted vases, and color. We are definitely most excited for the dance party after!
I love Hussein’s laugh and his kindness. He loves my laugh and my passion. Clearly we laugh a lot together!
Our favorite thing to do together is to go on late-night coffee dates to read, create art, or even study together during the school year.”
