Victoria and Shawn are the proud parents of Preslee Jean Waite and Kaylee June Waite, identical twin girls. They were born April 22, 2013, at 5:17 p.m. and 5:27 p.m.in New York City. At the time of this photo shoot, they were one day shy of turning six weeks old and SO CUTE!
Shawn and Victoria share, “We chose their first names because we simply liked them and thought they went well together without sounding too similar. It would have been confusing later in life when calling out for one child and having them think, “Did Mom say Hailey or Bailey?” The middle names both come from our maternal grandmothers. It’s tradition that the first born girl in Victoria’s family have the middle name Jean, and June was Shawn’s maternal grandmother’s name.
Preslee and Kaylee, for the most part, are very well behaved and mellow babies. Although they are double the work, they had mercy on us and are making our first experience as parents easy. The pregnancy went smoothly, and Preslee and Kaylee aren’t too fussy as newborns. They love to sleep after filling their bellies or playing on their play mat.
Our favorite part about having twins is that both of us has someone to cuddle at all times! Preslee and Kaylee are a lot like their parents already in that they enjoy long walks in the sunshine, scenic drives, and exploring the outdoors! We are looking forward to watching them grow up together and hopefully building a strong friendship with each other.”
Can’t tell them apart? Preslee is always in pink!
The tutus were a gift from Victoria’s mom, Suzanne Levan. The hats were a gift from Victoria’s friend, Pamela De Anda.
Congratulations to Victoria and Shawn on your beautiful family!
