Newborn Baby: Meet Adorable Baby Avery!

Angie shares, “I always liked the name Avery and wanted something different for his name. Moses was Miles’ late father’s name and we wanted to pay tribute to him. We were just happy that the name, Avery Moses Simmons, flowed so well!

When Miles and I were married in 2012, we knew children would be in our future. This is the first child for both of us and we knew we’d be very patient. Now that he’s here, it’s hard to imagine life without him and we know exactly what parents mean when they say ‘wait until you have children, you’ll understand.’ I just look at him every day and feel so much love.

Avery is a very laid-back kind of baby. We think he is the perfect mix of both of us in personality and facial features. A few of our friends say he looks like he’s been here before, like an old soul. He only smiles when he’s sleeping, but I can’t wait until he gets a little older when he’ll be smiling and laughing all the time.

Right now, he’s content with grabbing at the bottles and pacifier, listening to music, and looking at me and Miles very deeply like he’s trying to figure us out. We’re hoping he will have our gift of music, singing like me or playing an instrument like Miles.”
