Dana and Dan were married on a beautiful fall day at St. Joseph Parish in Herndon, VA.
The ring bearer had the best pout and the best smile.
Dana reminisces, “We met through eHarmony in December 2009. We exchanged phone calls and emails before our first date at Mon Ami on January 10, 2010. Technically, Dan was late to our first date…and I have been late to everything since then.”
On the one year anniversary of their first date, Dan planned a surprise proposal at the school where Dana teaches. During a faculty meeting, Dan burst through the doors and took the microphone away from his speechless girlfriend. He got down on one knee and proposed right on the spot.
Dana and Dan are huuuuuuuuge football fans. Dana roots for the Steelers and Dan is a Giants fan. So it was only natural to have custom terrible towels as the favors. The guests flung the towels in the air as the couple made their entrance into the reception.
A photo booth was incorporated into the reception with tons of hilarious photos of Dana and Dan’s family and friends. Dan’s mom was a professional clown and provided all of the amazing crazy props! Check out the SLIDESHOW
