Last night Eric and I were curled up on the couch winding down from the day when we began to hear loud booming noises. Fireworks! We ran outside and caught the end of the display over Central Park from the New York Philharmonic summer concert. It was one of those magical unplanned moments that makes me feel so lucky to live in New York City and so lucky to be in love.
This week’s song is one of my absolute favorites. The PERFECT love song! I hope you enjoy it: Home, by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.
I took this photo of the 4th of July Fireworks by manually blurring the entire image to catch the bokeh (the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light) impression of a firework.
