Happy Spring and happy Easter weekend! I was doing spring cleaning and removing clothes the kids have outgrown from their closets. Ollie, my oldest, is especially growing so fast. Whenever I feel this way I plan a photo sesh. I want to freeze them in time.
The crabapple trees in our neighborhood began to bloom and I was able to get the kids to smile for me with the promise of a special dinner picnic in the park …with cookies!

Not pictured: The tantrum about not being able to wear sneakers. The dozens of time they asked me if we were done yet, even though I only photographed them for about 20 minutes. All the silly faces Eric was making behind me. The raindrops that almost ruined our shoot. And the cookie crumbs smeared all over their faces as soon as I said we were done.
But I would bribe them with cookies all over again. I cant wait to print some of these and hang them on our walls.
